Dexter
Dexter is a 4 year old Rottweiler cross Husky. He is an affectionate and friendly boy who has lived with children happily. He loves cuddles and playing with toys.
Dexter does have some separation anxiety so needs a home with someone around or who he can go to work with.
Dexter has lived with other dogs but would be best as an only dog or with a very laid back large breed female as he isn’t keen on sharing his humans at home.
Dexter can be reactive to some other dogs when on lead if they appear suddenly and rush over and is not keen on small dogs. But he can make friends if introduced slowly.
He is looking for a large breed experienced confident, calm owner and rural home with no cats.
Dexter is currently at Rottie Friends Rescue in Somerset. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dexter please email rottweilerfriends@btinternet.com or telephone 07817 809727.
About Rottie Friends Rescue
The rescue is run by a behaviorist and trainer with 20 years Rottweiler experience, who rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes Rotties and Rottie crosses. They have been running just over a year and have rehomed 50 dogs.
All rehoming is subject to a home check, dog intros and adoption contract and fee, all adults dogs are spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped and young puppies go out with a spay contract.
All dogs are assessed and given some training before rehoming and as they believe in matching the right dog with the right home, if rehoming is not successful or owners circumstances change the dogs can be returned to them.
